Through the RIS team, healthcare organizations will have access to professional revenue integrity assistance designed to help them improve revenue cycle-related functions such as charge description master, clinical documentation and coding accuracy, according to a news release. It provides inpatient and outpatient audits, among other features.
“Compliance, accuracy and appropriate reimbursement continue to be top concerns of hospitals today,” Kerry Martin, VitalWare president and CEO, said in the release. “It’s a natural progression for VitalWare to expand its professional services.”
