The four micro-hospitals will include seven outpatient beds and eight inpatient beds.
The micro-hospitals are part of St. Vincent’s strategy to expand its healthcare operations across the greater Indianapolis area. Earlier this year, St. Vincent partnered with Kroger’s Little Clinic to provide care at 10 in-store clinics. The system also plans to open three new ambulatory care centers around Indianapolis next year.
St. Vincent expects to open the micro-hospitals in mid- to late 2017, according to the article.
