“Phase one is our expansion,” said CEO Karen Cole, according to the report, “which includes not only a medical office building, but what many people don’t understand yet, is that this is an entire front entry for the whole hospital.”

In about 30 days, the medical center will open the first half of its expanded emergency department. Phase two of the renovation project will begin in January and will include the remodeling of current space into a new surgery center and laboratory, according to Ms. Cole.
