River’s Edge Hospital and Clinic to begin bidding for $33M expansion

St. Peter, Minn.-based River’s Edge Hospital and Clinic will begin the bidding process for its expansion after the town’s city council and hospital commission approved the plans Thursday, according to The Free Press.

The $33 million expansion will include new surgical areas, patient rooms, emergency department space, urgent care, pharmacy and housekeeping areas. The bidding process will be done in two phases, the first focusing on metal and structural components while the second will include all other necessary materials.

Once the bidding is complete, construction is expected to begin in 2018.
