The $10 million, three-story, 36,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in 2019.
The new facility will provide palliative care to people with Alzheimer’s, dementia, cancer and heart disease.
“There is nothing else like this new center in the entire country,” said Kent Anderson, CEO of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. “Together we are creating a center where those with acute and chronic illnesses can receive centralized services.”
The center will be built on the campus of Centerville, Ohio-based Miami Valley Hospital South, which is owned by Premier Health.
