Here are three things to know.
1. Penrose-St. Francis officials are looking to decrease the height of the planned facility from 200 feet to 165 feet, according to the report.
2. The hospital is also looking to add 28 acres to the 51-acre site and to extend the complex from 1 million square feet to 1.8 million square feet, the report states.
3. The proposed changes follow community members’ concerns about the planned hospital’s height and geological issues associated with the building’s placement, among other concerns.
