Mercy Health opens emergency department, lobby of $291M tower in Michigan

Mercy Health in Muskegon, Mich., has opened the first two floors of its 10-story, $291 million medical tower, according to MLive.com.

The project began in September 2016, and the entire tower, which will be 380,000-square-feet, is expected to open in the fall.

The  floors that are now open include the emergency department with 54 patient rooms, 19 operating rooms and its lobby.

When completed, the medical center will have 267 beds.
