Construction commences on Lutheran outpatient facility

Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Health Network has initiated construction on its outpatient center, according to Inside Indiana Business.

Here are three things to know.

1. The outpatient center will be located in Wabash, Ind.

2. The outpatient center will feature a physical therapy and rehabilitation area, an urgent care clinic, a full laboratory, a diagnostic imaging suite and an infusion therapy center, Lutheran said, according to the report. Additionally, the facility will include a primary care and family medicine component, along with timeshare space for additional specialists and a satellite office for Lutheran’s The Orthopedic Hospital, according to the report.

3. The facility is expected to create 36 jobs and is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2017, reports Inside Indiana Business.
