$119M South Carolina hospital to open Oct. 4

Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital, a $119 million, 50-bed facility in South Carolina, will open to patients Oct. 4, according to ABC 4.

The 116,00-square-foot hospital is Berkeley County’s first new hospital in 45 years. It’s in Summerville.

The hospital will offer 24-hour emergency services, critical care, primary care and imaging and lab services.

Construction on the facility began in 2017.
