The hospital will transition to the Cerner Millennium EHR, which will provide NCGH physicians with an integrated digital patient record, including clinical and financial data. Additionally, NCGH providers will be able to transfer patient data from facilities across the country that use the Cerner system.
Providers will also have access to Cerner’s revenue cycle management system, allowing them to update the billing process and enhance clinical documentation.
A report from The Neshoba Democrat notes the system implementation will cost $8 million and will be completed by February 2019.
