Allscripts’ specialty medication management software AccelRx will now use Surescripts’ Specialty Patient Enrollment health information network, allowing healthcare providers to fulfill prescriptions faster for hundreds of types of specialty medications.
Through the partnership, Allscripts’ network of providers will be able to reduce the number of phone calls and faxes it typically takes to enroll patients for specialty medication prescriptions.
