The Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation in Philadelphia comprises three distinct entities: the incubator-esque Acceleration Lab, the Nudge Unit for clinical reminders and its Center for Digital Health.
Penn Medicine's Medical Device Accelerator program accepts applications for creating general, neurological devices, delivery platforms for drug and gene therapy and sensors. It also supports home-grown projects including a web-based platform to automate research functions and crowdsourcing platform for ideas and solutions.
The Center for Digital Health supports digital health technology that improves patient engagement and healthcare delivery. It is also an incubator for promoting new ideas and solutions in digital health for Penn Medicine.
