Washington, D.C.-based Sibley Innovation Hub focuses on digital and non-digital solutions to solve operational challenges for healthcare organizations. The Hub is part of Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C.-based hospital that is a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine.
The Hub takes particular interest in innovation for community hospitals and serves as a real-world laboratory for developing and testing new ideas. Physicians, staff, patients, families and entrepreneurs are able to test their ideas at Sibley, which fosters collaboration between stakeholders that may not otherwise work together.
Projects supported by the Sibley Innovation Hub include a "tranquility room" featuring digital music and aroma therapy as a calming space for patients and a breast cancer toolkit.
