The center will offer collaborators access to advanced technologies spanning genomic, proteomic and metabolomic analysis. It will also offer access to its team of in-house scientists who can help collaborators progress from biomarker discovery to assay development.
“Precision medicine needs to be based on high-quality data, and proteomics is central to that,” said Jennifer Van Eyk, PhD, of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, a center collaborator. “Our work with the team at the PMSC is helping us accelerate the important journey from discovery to patient care.”
Thermo Fisher Scientific also opened Precision Medicine Science Center in Guangzhou, China in 2017.
