Through the app or Oscar’s website, members can request a call with a physician 24/7. Members can send an image through the app that depicts symptoms, and a physician can help diagnose a problem, initiate a treatment plan or write a prescription.

Oscar estimates its members saved more than 106,000 hours on travel by using the app. In addition, the insurer said members who contacted Oscar’s concierge team saved 36 percent on out-of-network costs.
