Definitive Healthcare, an information services provider for healthcare commercial intelligence, has expanded the data within its Atlas Technology Install Dataset, which will provide updates to over 1.7 million technology installations for healthcare systems.
The updates data will cover a roughly 10 percent increase in technology installs by vendors and a more than 20 percent increase in technology installs by products, according to an Aug. 14 news release from Definitive Healthcare.
The hospitals, health systems and surgery centers that use the dataset will have greater access to information on how hospitals, physicians and ambulatory surgery centers are using technology across 15 main categories, including clinical systems, electronic health records, health information management and human resources.
Definitive Healthcare has also implemented a "signaling strength score" to the technology data, which provides insight on unconfirmed installations that its data-science algorithms have identified as likely installations.
"The updated technology data in our Atlas Dataset paints a current, accurate picture of a provider organization’s technology environment, so that you can customize your outreach and messaging based on a facility’s current technology profile, and ultimately close more deals," Robert Musslewhite, CEO of Definitive Healthcare, said in the release.
