Sixty percent of healthcare organizations said their third-party risk management and compliance strategies were due for some improvements, according to a survey conducted by technology company Kiteworks.
Researchers surveyed healthcare executives who were responsible for secure third-party content communications. Here's what they found:
- About 47 percent of healthcare respondents said that 100 percent of their sensitive content email communications with third parties were encrypted.
- Thirty-seven percent of respondents said that they had implemented controls to measure third-party risk.
