The platform, dubbed MyPath for Clinical, uses cloud, mobile and wearable medical devices technologies to address clinical trial challenges surrounding patient recruitment, patient engagement and protocol management.
“The adoption of technology in clinical trials has focused primarily on the administrative, data capture and data management aspects of running a trial,” said Brett Davis, general manager at ConvergeHealth, according to a news release emailed to Becker’s Hospital Review. “As the clinical trial model transforms, we hope to help improve recruitment approaches, reduce dropout rates and increase patient support during the trial for better protocol compliance.”
MyPath for Clinical digitizes the clinical trial process for patients and investigators. The platform also provides education and resources, medication tracking and appointment management, symptom tracking, patient-reported outcomes and survey and data visualization for patients, among other capabilities.
