The clinical integration accreditation program focuses on the development of the organizational structure needed to achieve clinical integration and on the application of evidence-based practices, according to a news release. The program offers guidance for provider organizations on achieving care coordination and interdependent operations.
Accountable Care Accreditation from URAC supports a focus on total population health and improving health outcomes through care coordination. The program addresses population-based risk management, health information technology and patient centeredness and engagement, among other aspects of accountable care.
