ORMC’s renovation plan includes converting 3,000 square feet of its emergency department to a pediatric emergency unit, adding pediatric emergency and nonemergency subspecialists and retrofitting inpatient rooms as rooms for a pediatric intensive care unit.
The ORMC Foundation is already a quarter of the way to their $2 million goal.
Emergency department conversion is slated to begin next week.
