Hattiesburg Clinic and Forest General Hospital Announce $20M Heart and Vascular Center

Hattiesburg (Miss.) Clinic and Hattiesburg-based Forrest General Hospital announced they will construct a $20 million heart and vascular center, according to a Hattiesburg American report.

The center will share a campus with FGH.

Construction on the 80,000-square-foot facility will begin in fall of this year. When it opens in fall 2014, the center will house Hattiesburg Clinic Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Vascular Specialists and Forrest General Hospital's Cardiac Rehabilitation Center.

Hattiesburg Clinic expects to add about 10 physicians to the heart and vascular clinic staff to meet community health needs upon completion of the facility.
