Mayo Clinic has opened its fourth international services office with its latest expansion in Quito, Ecuador, according to a Rochester Post-Bulletin report.
The office in Ecuador will provide general information about Mayo as well as appointment scheduling, patient itineraries and lodging assistance, according to the report. It will not provide medical services.
Mayo also has services in Mexico, Guatemala and Canada. The office in Mexico has been open for more than 10 years and offers the most complex administrative services, such as follow-up assistance for patients returning home to Mexico.
