The payer has more than 123,000 members living in areas declared states of emergency due to the storm, including Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia, a July 13 news release said.
Effective immediately, Blue Cross will allow early refills of all prescription medications and free access to medical and mental health services provided through its telehealth platform for the next 90 days.
