Banner Health Begins Construction on New Cancer Center in Arizona

Banner Health has begun construction on a new $107 million cancer center in Gilbert, Ariz., according to a report by the Arizona Republic.

The M.D. Anderson Banner Cancer Center is scheduled to open in late 2011 and will feature a 120,000 square-foot outpatient center and 76 inpatient beds, according to the report.

Non-profit Banner Health has invested more than $1 billion to expand or build new facilities over the past several years, according to the report.
