Madison, Wis.-based UW Health has kicked off construction of its $122 million University Row Medical Center in Madison, which will expand the system’s Digestive Health Center.
The four-story medical center is part of a long-term plan to exit UW Health’s aging facility on Park Street in Madison, and aims to improve care access in the area. It will provide space for the majority of UW Health’s clinics at the Park Street location, according to a Nov. 10 news release.
University Row Medical Center will offer adult and pediatric primary care, urgent care, imaging, laboratory services, a pharmacy and rehabilitation services. Madison-based UW Health West Towne Clinic’s services, including its Madison-based urgent care clinic, will also relocate to University Row.
UW Health plans to complete construction on the center by the end of 2027, and begin treating patients in 2028.
