University Medical Center proposes new Texas location

University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas, is proposing a new medical facility in Texas, according to local news station KCBD

The hospital is asking the city of Lubbock to rezone more than 13 acres of land in the city to house the facility. 

In documents filed with the city, University Medical Center said the medical center will house a clinic, rehab services and an emergency room. The facility may also add inpatient beds in the future, according to the report.
