U of Kansas Health System to open $360M patient tower

Kansas City-based University of Kansas Health System will open its $360 million patient tower next week, according to Fox4KC.

The new 11-story building, Cambridge Tower A, will house oncology patients and ear nose and throat patients in larger rooms with amenities for visitors. In addition, the tower contains a new neurosurgery operating room equipped with a laser to help physicians pinpoint brain tumors.

The construction took five-years to complete.
