Portland, Maine-based Mercy Hospital aims to consolidate its services to one location, and is launching a campaign to make the change, WGME reports.

The hospital held a donor reception dinner Oct. 17, where it announced a $20 million campaign to move its services to the hospital’s Fore River campus.

“It brings our staff together. It will provide efficiencies, and it will actually reduce our operating cost by being on one campus,” said Mercy Hospital President Charlie Therrien.

When the project is complete, Mercy officials say they will close and sell the campus, which has served Portland patients for a century.
