Kentucky health system to open $23M health complex

Owensboro (Ky.) Health is opening a $23 million, 40,000-square-foot health complex in Madisonville, Ky., according to The Messenger

Services will include occupational medicine, orthopedics, sports medicine, pulmonology, pain management, laboratory services, imaging and an urgent care clinic with 11 exam rooms. The complex will also have a bone density scanner, mammogram and ultrasound machine, X-ray and CT scanner.

The services provided at the “healthplex” were designed to be a “one-stop shop” for patients, said Gary Lee, regional clinics director at Owensboro Health.

Services are set to begin Jan. 8.
