The medical center, Berkeley (Calif.) Outpatient Center, will connect residents with primary and specialty care physicians and provide urgent care services. The medical center will open with seven family medicine physicians and a nurse practitioner will join in September.
In addition to primary care, the medical center will offer patients access to specialty care in several specialties, including audiology, cardiology, neurology, obstetrics, orthopedics, urology and vascular surgery.
“This new facility brings together two locally and nationally recognized health systems for the benefit of patients and the community,” said Caroline Schreiber, MD, family medicine physician and medical director of the Berkeley Outpatient Center.
