Healthcare communications company raises $20M

Authenticx, a healthcare communications company that works to monitor customer feedback, raised $20 million in series B financing. 

The company analyzes patient interactions in email or call centers to provide feedback to hospitals and health systems. With the financing, Authenticx plans to implement machine learning tools, grow its marketing efforts and expand the business.

Blue Heron Capital led the financing round, according to a Jan. 17 Authenticx news release.

"By listening at scale, business leaders can feel confident that the strategies they implement in their organization are backed by data generated from the authentic words of their customers," Authenticx CEO Amy Brown said. "Whether identifying areas of frustration for customers or listening for good news, conversational data can be used to revolutionize the patient experience and remind the workforce of their noble purpose."
