Florida hospital expands ICU

Cape Coral (Fla.) Hospital, part of Fort Myers, Fla.-based Lee Health, is adding 12 beds and a second floor to its intensive care unit, local news outlet Fox4 reported March 16.

The health system held a beam topping-out ceremony for the expansion March 16. Lee Health said that the expansion will help accommodate growing community healthcare needs.

The financial terms of the expansion were not disclosed.
