The following hospitals announced or completed plans in the last two weeks to expand, upgrade or renovate their facilities:

1. New York CIty’s Mount Sinai opens urgent care center 
New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System opened its new, full service express care center next to its emergency room Dec. 10.

2. Florida’s Manatee Memorial opens emergency care center 
Bradenton, Fla.-based Manatee Memorial Hospital has opened a 48-room emergency care center.

3. CoxHealth to build Missouri replacement hospital: 4 things to know
Springfield, Mo.-based CoxHealth plans to build a $42 million replacement facility for its 65-year-old hospital in Monett, Mo.

4. Sutter Health’s $2.1B campus to open in March
Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health plans to open its $2.1 billion hospital campus next March, a few months ahead of schedule.

5. Mercyhealth unveils $505M hospital
Janesville, Wis.-based Mercyhealth debuted its $505 million, 194-bed hospital Dec. 5.

6. Covenant Health unveils $115M expansion plans for Tennessee hospital
Knoxville, Tenn.-based Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, owned by Knoxville-based Covenant Health, has unveiled plans for its $115 million expansion.
