Mercyhealth will open its women and children-focused Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic-Riverside hospital in Rockford, Ill., in January. In addition to nearly 200 inpatient beds, the 530,000-square-foot campus features a 52-bed level 3 neonatal intensive care unit.
Mercyhealth CEO Javon Bea, told 23 WIFR: “A facility like this that serves people’s bodies, minds and souls, it’s a source of healing and comfort. You’ll just find a number of businesses and people wanting to build around the facility.”
