Mark L’Italien, director of information services at SRMC, said MEDITECH met the hospital’s criteria for end-user functionality, customer service and support, and cost.
SRMC plans to have the EHR implemented by early 2017.
“MEDITECH’s 6.1 EHR will allow us to integrate many of the software programs currently used by our staff, and will provide an upgrade to our current IT system,” said Anita Hackstedde, MD, president and CEO of SRMC.
