St. Francis Medical Center names Kristin Wolkart CEO

St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, La., part of Baton Rouge, La.-based Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, has named Kristin Wolkart president and CEO.

Ms. Wolkart has worked within the Franciscan Missionaries system since 2000 and has served as the hospital’s COO since April. She will take over CEO duties from Scott Wester, a former CEO of St. Francis Medical Center who returned to the hospital in July to serve as interim CEO following the retirement of Louis Bremer.

Mr. Wester will now return to his full-time duties as CEO of Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
