Nyack Hospital appoints interim CEO

Nyack (N.Y.) Hospital has named Mark Geller, MD, interim CEO, effective immediately.

Dr. Geller, a radiologist, formerly served as president of the Nyack Hospital medical staff. He will take a leave of absence from Hudson Valley Radiology Associates in Yonkers, N.Y., where he currently serves as CEO.

John Volanto, vice president of support services and CIO, has been leading the hospital since David Freed resigned as CEO in September.
