The partnership is aimed at improving the quality of care and reducing healthcare costs for Humana’s Medicare Advantage members in the greater Omaha area beginning Jan. 1, 2015.
“Comprised of two leading health systems in Nebraska, the Nebraska Health Network is intimately familiar with the local health market, a leader in quality care and offers our members a wide-range of hospitals and physicians,” said Matthew Moore, president of Humana’s central north region, which includes Nebraska.

Through the partnership, Humana and the Nebraska Health Network are collaborating on disease management and prevention, such as diabetes care and treatment.
