Nebraska hospital taps CFO

Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance, Neb., appointed Kim Morrow as CFO.

Ms. Morrow has more than 30 years of experience in finance, including five years in healthcare, according to an Oct. 31 hospital news release. She previously served as the hospital’s accounting controller.

In her new role, Ms. Morrow oversees strategic fiscal planning, budget development, financial performance, revenue cycle, reimbursement and compliance. She also supervises several departments, including patient financial services, health information services and the Box Butte Health Foundation.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Morrow was finance director for the Wyoming Department of Education, where she worked directly with the state legislature to implement financial policies.

CFO Michael O’Dell, who also previously served as interim CEO, exited the organization at the end of June.

Box Butte General Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital.
