Tom Siemers, CEO of Wilbarger General Hospital in Vernon, Texas, retired Oct. 14.
He will pursue personal goals after serving as CEO since 2020, according to an Oct. 16 hospital news release.
Tonya Price, MSN, RN, who has served as interim chief nursing officer since July, was appointed interim CEO, effective Oct. 15.
Mr. Siemers told Becker’s in 2022 that he launched an orthopedic surgery program that “immediately and significantly” improved Wilbarger General’s financial performance.
