Jeff Sandene, executive vice president and CFO of Charleston, W.Va.-based Vandalia Health, has been promoted to president and CEO of the system, effective July 2026.
Mr. Sandene, who will succeed Dave Ramsey when he retires in July, served as CFO for Charleston Area Medical Center prior to his existing role, according to an Oct. 16 news release shared with Becker’s.
He will continue to serve in his current role while the system searches for a replacement.
Vandalia Health is a multi-state health system that comprises CAMC Health System, Davis Health System and Mon Health System. It has 17 hospitals, more than 220 ambulatory locations, more than 13,000 employees and over 2,000 doctors and advanced practice providers, the release said.
