Katie Galbraith was appointed as the Rosenberg Family President at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, according to an Aug. 18 hospital news release shared with Becker’s.

Ms. Galbraith joins Cambridge, Mass.-based Beth Israel Lahey Health, a system with 39,000 employees, from Radnor Township, Pa.-based Main Line Health, where she served as president of Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Pa., since 2022.

Her role at Beth Israel Lahey is a newly named position. A health system spokesperson told Becker’s the Rosenberg Family name in the title is reflective of a philanthropic gift to the hospital, not a change in the responsibilities of the position.

Ms. Galbraith succeeds David Passafaro, who retired this summer, according to the release.

New England Baptist Hospital, a 75-bed facility with more than 900 full-time employees, is a regional provider for orthopedic surgery and the treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and disorders.
