AdventHealth Apopka (Fla.) named Latonya McCoy, BSN, RN, chief nursing officer.
Ms. McCoy will oversee all nursing teams at the hospital and elevate clinical excellence and care in Orange County, according to a July 23 system news release shared with Becker’s.
She started her career at AdventHealth in 2007 as a nurse tech in Orlando. Since then, she has played a key role in expanding the hospital’s fifth floor and helping the campus earn and maintain its DNV stroke certification, the release said.
