Weslaco, Texas-based Knapp Medical Center has named Melissa Mendoza its next CFO.
Ms. Mendoza joins Knapp from HCA Houston Medical Center, where she served as CFO and chief staffing officer, according to her LinkedIn page.
“Melissa is known for her ability to drive organizational growth while fostering a culture of inspiration and empowerment within her teams,” Knapp said in a July 10 LinkedIn post.
The 227-bed nonprofit hospital is part of Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare.
