Emerson Health taps new chief strategy officer

Concord, Mass.-based Emerson Health has named Rachel Wasserstrom senior vice president of strategy and chief strategy officer.

In her new role, Ms. Wasserstrom will lead the system’s business development, partnerships and planning to drive long-term growth and deliver patient-centered care, according to a July 9 news release shared with Becker’s.

With more than two decades of healthcare experience under her belt, Ms. Wasserstrom served as chief administrative officer at Boston-based Tufts Medical Center’s Faculty Practice prior to her new role. 

She also currently serves as the associate and course director for the master of science in clinical service operations program at Boston-based Harvard Medical School, teaching post-graduate students.
