Cliff Wilson was appointed market president and CEO of Albuquerque, N.M.-based Lovelace Health System, effective Aug. 11.

Mr. Wilson will replace Troy Greer, who resigned in June after two years in the role. Mr. Greer’s departure marked the five-hospital system’s fourth CEO change in three years. Michael Kueker, CEO of Lovelace Medical Group, was named interim CEO.

Mr. Wilson joins Lovelace from Lifepoint Health’s central Kentucky region, where he served as market president and CEO, according to a July 7 health system news release.

Throughout his career, he held various leadership positions at Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint, including hospital CEO, COO and senior director of physician services.

“We are thrilled to welcome Cliff to Lovelace and the Albuquerque community,” Mr. Kueker, said in the release. “His commitment to compassionate, high-quality care and his collaborative leadership style make him an ideal fit for our team. I’m confident he will continue to build on our momentum, advancing our growth, strengthening quality and expanding access to care across the region.”
