Mr. Smith joins the system from Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare, according to a March 25 news release from AdventHealth Colorado. Most recently, he served as president and market leader for the system’s South King County Region and its Auburn (Wash.) and Covington (Wash.) Medical Centers. Previously, he spent six years at Kettering (Ohio) Health Network in various presidencies.
He will assume his new role April 8, reporting to Brett Spenst, president and CEO for AdventHealth’s Rocky Mountain region.
AdventHealth is based in Altamonte Springs, Fla., and operates five hospitals and associated clinics in Colorado.
