Mr. Drake has served as interim CEO of the organization since December, according to a news release.
Before that, he was COO of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare’s Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
Children’s Hospital of Michigan is part of the Detroit Medical Center.
