Newark Beth Israel Medical Center hires Dr. Matthew Schreiber as chief clinical officer

Newark (N.J.) Beth Israel Medical Center named Matthew Schreiber, MD, chief clinical officer. In this role, he will also lead clinical efforts at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Dr. Schreiber most recently served as vice president of operations for the acute health service line at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Mich. His previous executive roles include serving as vice president for hospital quality and system safety at Spectrum Health and CMO at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.

An internal medicine physician, Dr. Schreiber earned his medical degree from the New York State Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel.
