Penn State Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Innovation Program (Hershey, Pa.).A joint effort between Penn State Children’s Hospital, Penn State University and industry partners, the Penn State Children’s Hospital Pediatric Innovation Program creates a space for a multidisciplinary discussion about technology development for infants and children. The program has developed the Hug’n’Snug Neonatal Chest Splint; Ambulatory Cough Monitoring Device; Solid State Hydrogen Sensor; and Naso Oral Respiratory Interface System. The Pediatric Innovation Program also collaborates with Penn State College of Engineering and the Smeal College of Business at Penn State to train the next generation of leaders in innovation research.
